Description
About Buckwheat Honey
Buckwheat is a flowering plant in the knotweed family, related to sorrel and rhubarb. Bees work its small white blossom in late summer and produce one of the darkest honeys available. Its malty depth stands up to savoury cooking, which is why it works in glazes and barbecue sauces as well as on bread.
Customers who enjoy richer, more robust tastes often choose it, and it is one of the honeys staff recommend to anyone who asks for something strong or something different.

Frequently asked questions
What is buckwheat honey?
Buckwheat honey is made by bees from the nectar of buckwheat flowers. It is a dark honey with a bold flavour and distinctive malty notes, and ours comes from Poland.
What does buckwheat honey taste like?
Bold, rich and malty. It is one of the strongest-flavoured honeys in the range, so it suits people who enjoy richer, more robust tastes rather than a mild, sweet honey.
Is buckwheat honey related to wheat?
No. Despite its name, buckwheat is not related to wheat, and it is neither a cereal nor a grass.

Super nice! I thought that I don’t like the buckwheat honey, but this one tastes much lighter and smoother than the others I tried before . Thanks 🙂

Hi everyone
This honey is the best i have ever tasted anywhere in the world. It’s the purest you will ever find and RAW. The top brand honey are watered down and rubbish, just out to just make profit not health. The guys who make this are polish and genuine. God bless you all

Really love this honey – tasty and ‘earthy’ and just how I like my honey to be ! I also love that the jar is just honey – no label to distract – wonderful simplicity, thank you.
