Description
About Phacelia Honey
Phacelia is a unique plant in the beekeeping calendar. It is often sown to improve soil health, and beekeepers value it highly for its exceptionally nectar-rich flowers. Its blooming period is short but intense, a busy time for bees as they work among its delicate purple blossoms.
The result is a light summer honey that is slow to crystallise. Like all natural honeys it may set over time, which is a natural process, and gentle warming brings back its runny drizzle.
